Dear Residents,
Re: Unauthorized Use of Golf Course
There has been an increase of non-member, community resident activity on the golf course in the evening hours including unauthorized carts and golfers, walkers, bikers, e-bikes, dirt bikes, dog walking, etc.
This is absolutely prohibited.
The golf course is private property; it is not community green space or your backyard. Please be advised that unless you are a member or a guest who has paid green fees you are trespassing and the appropriate action will be taken by The Club.
Starting today the golf course will be closed for overseeding. The Club has notified its membership that any violations will result in fines. It is a substantial investment and if someone were to drive a cart or other vehicle on the fairways while the seed is germinating and before it is strongly rooted the fairway would be ruined.
It is imperative that the community does not continue to treat the golf course as community space. It is not. We can not stress enough that it is privately owned and not for non-member, unauthorized use.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Regards,
River Wilderness of Bradenton Foundation
