Re: Solicitor Removal Process

As you know, we continue to be plagued by vendors who solicitor door to door. We have communicated with each company every time we receive a reported solicitor, however, it continues.

We have created a process of communication and action which involves residents, the guards at the 2 gates, the property managers and the board.

Attached is an outline of the steps of that process for your information and for your instruction. If you have a solicitor at your door, please do the following:

Inform solicitor that there is no soliciting in River Wilderness

Advise the solicitor that they are trespassing on private property

Tell them they must leave the property immediately and that you are contacting onsite security. Do not follow them.

Call the Security Gate Attendant and inform them that there is a solicitor on the property and provide your street address and description of the solicitor and their company info if you were able to obtain it. If you happen to observe a solicitor in your neighborhood, do not confront or engage them, just call the security gate attendant.

HOA will take action with the company involved.
