Re: OTR Gate Reno Starts Tomorrow
Dear Residents,
The construction work at the OTR gate is scheduled to start tomorrow at 8am. and will continue through the day till 6pm.
The dumpsters have been delivered, and the barriers are in place.
Tomorrow’s demo work will start on the exit side portico. To help the flow of traffic, we have:
| 1. | Moved the entry time for vendors to start at 7 am, as previously communicated. |
| 2. | Encouraged all residents to enter/exit via the Fort Hamer gate in the Islands if at all possible. We anticipate some times during the work tomorrow where the exit gate may be blocked due to work in progress, and even though you may have to drive througout the community to the FH gate, it may be quicker for you, especially if you are turning right from that exit and traveling down Upper Manatee Road. Please observe the 15mph speed on Islands Estate Drive and in the Islands. |
| 3. | Have a staff assembled that will be on both sides of the gate (yellow vests) directing traffic to hopefully keep the traffic flowing with minimal delays. |
