Re: Clarification of Letter Sent on 4/15/2026 to River Wilderness Community
Dear Residents,
Earlier this morning residents received an email from the River Wilderness Foundation concerning the Fort Hamer gate. As you can see from the body of the email, this Board does not endorse or agree with the requests of the Islands for the River Wilderness community to execute forms or pay an activation fee to access the Fort Hamer resident gate.
Additionally, we provided a contact email for RW residents to obtain the forms directly from the Islands if they chose on their own to fill out the forms and pay the fee required, while this Board reviews the issue.
Unfortunately, due to a clerical era the Islands forms were attached to the email.
We apologize for any confusion this may cause.
