This month’s selection was one of the most difficult yet!

With all of the summer rain and sunshine, River Wilderness is bursting with vibrant flowers, lush landscaping, and beautifully maintained properties. After narrowing the field to four exceptional yards, we photographed each one and spent quite a bit of time comparing them side by side. The decision was anything but easy.

Because each of these homes deserved recognition, we have chosen one Overall Yard of the Month Winner along with three Honorable Mention Awards.

Honorable Mention – Outstanding Floral Beauty

A spectacular display of flowering beds overflowing with color and seasonal beauty. Every glance reveals another splash of vibrant blooms.

This homeowner has created more than a beautiful landscape—they’ve created a welcome home for an entire neighborhood. Their colorful side-yard gardens greet Maple Ridge residents each day, making the drive home just a little brighter.

James and JC McLain

James and JC have called their property home for less than a year, and they have already made a remarkable impression. Earlier this spring, they thoughtfully redesigned and expanded their shrub and flower gardens, and the results are simply beautiful. Their landscape is fresh, colorful, beautifully balanced, and a wonderful addition to the neighborhood.

The homes on Little Country are clustered together, just around the corner from Maple Ridge, making this a perfect opportunity for neighbors to take a leisurely golf car drive or walk to enjoy all four of this month’s featured properties.
