Re: Updates-Fort Hamer Gate Access Project

The Islands Board has provided the following updates on the progress of the FH gate access project:

Re deposit of $25 activation fee checks, all checks will be deposited in batches, so residents should expect the deposits to occur on a delayed basis.

During this week, the week of 5/18. This is the stage of the program where we are testing all of our components. Gates, arms, hardware, and software. We are also continuing to process registration forms.

During the week of 5/25, we will enter our Pilot Stage. We will intermittently turn on the “Fast Pass” lane to ensure it is working properly. This will be done in 1-2 hour increments at selected periods of time to give the guards an opportunity to prepare for full launch. It will also test all aspects of system readiness. We are also continuing to process registration forms.

Attached below is the RW registration form, and, as a reminder, May 31 is the due date.
