Re: Reminder Town Hall Meeting – Commissioner Felts – July 8
Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, July 8 at 6pm, for a Town Hall meeting featuring Manatee County Commissioner, Carol Ann Felts.
We have invited Commissioner Felts to address some of the concerns that residents have regarding the extensive development and construction that is occurring on Fort Hamer Road. With the creation of the Pump Track and Recreational Space across from the FH Gate, the roundabout at Mulholland Road, and the planned retail space and multi family housing, as well as the new bridge and widening of Fort Hamer Road, our community will definitely feel the effects of this construction on many levels.
The board has advised the Commissioner’s office of some of the areas of concern that River Wilderness residents have regarding the proposed FH Project, so the Commissioner can address some of these at the meeting.

This development and construction will impact River Wilderness residents for the foreseeable future, and this meeting is a great opportunity to meet our representative Commissioner and hear important information.
