The Islands

The Islands on the Manatee River is a year-round playground for those who love boating, fishing and water sports of all kinds. Nearby destinations such as Sarasota-Bradenton, with its 20 miles of beachfront; Tampa, home to charter fishing, parasailing and sunset cruises; and St. Petersburg, dubbed “the Sunshine City” and the site of the Salvador Dalí Museum, are all a convenient drive away and provide endless opportunities for recreation, entertainment and cultural exploration.
